Keep private notes on a scene

Write notes that only you can read and that never leave the project.

Beginner3 stepsMac

Before you start

  • The Scene Hub is open on a scene.

Steps

  1. Scroll the Scene tab down to Private notes and click Add private note.

The section reads: Private notes are only for you. They are not printed and never leave the project in an export or a review package. With none, it says No private notes on this scene.

  2. Click the three dots (Private note actions) next to a note.

The note is marked Only you. The menu offers Edit and Delete.

  3. Choose Edit, change the text and click Save, or click Cancel.

The note becomes a text box with Cancel and Save.

What you get

Your private note is saved on the scene and visible only to you.

Watch out for

  • A private note is never printed or exported. A scene note in Scene details is also left out of exports by default, but a comment is shared.
