ScreenplayRead the information about a draft
See the status, lineage and dates of the draft you are in.
Before you start
- A screenplay is open.
Steps
Choose Show Inspector in Screenplay Tools and click the Draft tab.
The tab shows the draft name, Status (for example Draft · Current), Lineage, Open comments, Created, Last modified and the Note you wrote. Drafts… and Page Setup… open those sheets directly.
Look at the same tab in a new project.
The first draft shows the same lines with nothing in them yet.
Look at the tab for a revision draft.
A revision adds a Revision line to the information, with its label and colour.
What you get
You know which draft you are in, where it came from and when it changed.
Watch out for
- Check this tab before you start a rewrite to be sure you are in the draft you meant.
