Mac tutorials › Schedule
ScheduleUse the day menu
Open, date, extend, reorder or delete a shooting day from its Actions menu.
Before you start
- The schedule has a shooting day.
Steps
Click Actions at the right of a day's heading on the Board.
The menu lists Open day details, Edit date, Add to this day, Set as Off Day, Add Day Note, Insert day after, Duplicate day (breaks and notes only), Move Day Earlier, Move Day Later, Create Call Sheet and Delete day. Items that do not apply are dimmed. In the picture Set as Off Day is dimmed on a day that has scenes, and Move Day Earlier is dimmed on the first day.
Choose Open day details to see the whole day, or Edit date to change its date.
These are covered in Open one shooting day and Change the date of a day.
Choose Add to this day to put a meal break, travel, company move or note in the day. Choose Add Day Note to write a note for the day.
Breaks are covered in Add a meal break on the Board and Add travel, a company move or a note.
Choose Insert day after to add a new day straight after this one, Duplicate day (breaks and notes only) to copy the day without its scenes, or Move Day Earlier or Move Day Later to change its place.
Duplicate copies only the breaks and the notes. The scenes stay where they are.
Choose Create Call Sheet to make a call sheet for this day, or Delete day to remove the day.
Create Call Sheet starts the call sheet from the shooting day. See the Call Sheets tutorials.
On a day's detail page, click Actions at the top right for a shorter version of the same menu.
It has Add to this day, Set as Off Day, Insert day after, Duplicate day (breaks and notes only), Move Day Earlier, Move Day Later and Delete day. Open day details, Edit date, Add Day Note and Create Call Sheet are not in it because the page already has them.
What you get
You know where every day action is.
Watch out for
- Check the Board after Delete day.
