ScheduleAdd shooting days
Create the days you plan to shoot, with or without a date.
Before you start
- A shooting schedule exists.
Steps
Click Create Shooting Day in the toolbar.
The orange button is the first action in the toolbar. A sheet opens.
In the Create Shooting Day sheet, type the date in the Shooting date box as YYYY-MM-DD, for example 2027-06-14. You can leave it empty. Add anything the team should know in Day notes.
The line under the box says: Optional. A day can exist without a date. Write it as YYYY-MM-DD. A small date picker beside the box fills in a date for you. Day notes is free text for the day. Click Create Day, or Cancel to close without creating.
If you type a date in another form, such as 14 June 2027, the sheet shows a red message under the notes.
The message reads: Enter the date as YYYY-MM-DD, for example 2027-06-14. Correct the date and click Create Day again. No day is created until the date is understood or the box is empty.
Repeat Create Shooting Day for each day you need.
Each day appears as a column named Shoot Day 1, Shoot Day 2 and so on, with its date, for example Shoot Day 1 · Mon 14 Jun 2027. A new day says 0 scenes and No scenes scheduled. Drag scenes here. A message says Created a shooting day.
What you get
The Board shows your shooting days, ready to receive scenes.
Watch out for
- The date is optional. A day without a date appears in the Not yet dated area of the Calendar. See Look at the schedule as a calendar.
