Production PlanRename, move to another scene or add a storyboard for the same scene
Use the Actions menu to manage the whole storyboard.
Before you start
- A storyboard is open.
Steps
Click Actions next to the panel count.
The menu holds Rename…, Change Scene…, Make Standalone, Another Storyboard for This Scene… and, below a divider, Delete Storyboard…. Choose Make Standalone to take a storyboard off its scene.
Choose Rename…, edit Name and click Rename.
The sheet is titled Rename storyboard and starts with the scene heading as the name. Cancel closes it with no change.
Choose Another Storyboard for This Scene… to add a second storyboard for the same scene.
The New Storyboard sheet opens for the same scene. Give it a Name to tell the two apart, then click Create Storyboard. Change Scene… and Delete Storyboard… work from the same menu.
What you get
The storyboard has the name and scene you want.
Watch out for
- Delete Storyboard… is at the bottom of the menu, below a divider, so it is hard to pick by accident.
