Production PlanDescribe a panel and set its framing
Fill in what we see in a panel, how it is framed, and how long it lasts.
Before you start
- A storyboard has at least one panel.
Steps
Control-click a panel.
The menu offers Open, Move Earlier, Move Later, Move to Storyboard…, Link Shot… and Delete. Move Earlier and Move Later change its place in the order, as dragging does.
Choose Open, or click the panel.
The inspector is headed STORYBOARD PANEL with the panel number. It has Description, Visual with Import Image… and Draw / Sketch…, Framing, Camera movement, Angle, Duration (seconds) and Dialogue / sound note. Each of Framing, Camera movement and Angle has a Suggestions button.
Type a short description. Fill in Framing and Camera movement, using Suggestions if you like.
The description says what we see, for example Arjun waits under the shelter, rain on the roof. The picture shows Wide and Slow push in. The description appears under the panel in the grid.
Choose an Angle and type a number in Duration (seconds). If you type something that is not a number, read the message.
The message says: Enter seconds between 0 and 3600. Type a number such as 3.5.
What you get
The panel has a description, framing and a duration.
Watch out for
- Duration takes a number of seconds from 0 to 3600.
