Notes and Tasks

Mark a task done and reopen it

Tick off finished tasks and bring one back if you need to.

Beginner4 stepsMac

Before you start

  • The project has at least one open task.

Steps

  1. Click the tick box at the left of a task.

The box is labelled Mark “Book the lamp rig” done. A message such as Completed task “Print the call sheet for night one” appears at the bottom.

  2. Look at the Tasks heading.

The open count goes down. In the Open view the finished task leaves the list.

  3. Click Done.

The done tasks are listed with a ticked box. The tick box is now labelled Reopen.

  4. To bring a task back, right-click it, or Control-click it, and choose Reopen. You can also click its tick box.

The task returns to the Open list.

What you get

Finished tasks are out of the Open list, and a reopened task is back in it.
