Use the project card menu

Open, duplicate, find on disk or change the cover of a project from its card.

Beginner4 stepsMac

Before you start

  • A project card is on Application Home.

Steps

  1. Click Actions on the card of a project.

The Actions button is at the top right of each card. The menu lists Open, Rename…, Duplicate Project, Pin, Change Cover Photo…, Show in Finder, then Archive and Remove from Recent, then Delete Project… at the bottom. Dividers separate the groups.

  2. Choose Open to open the project, or Duplicate Project to make a copy of it.

Duplicate Project is useful before a big change to a script or plan. Rename…, Pin, Archive and Delete Project… have their own workflows below.

  3. Choose Show in Finder to see the project in a Finder window.

Use this when you want to copy the project to a drive. Rename, archive and delete from OpenFrame, not in Finder, so the project list stays correct.

  4. Choose Remove from Recent to take the project off the list without deleting anything.

A message says the project was removed from the list and that nothing was deleted. The project stays in its folder and can come back through Found on this Mac.

What you get

You can reach every action for a project from its card.

Watch out for

  • Remove from Recent is not Delete Project…. It only hides the card, and the folder stays on disk.
