Before you start
- The project has several files.
Steps
Click the Search files box and type, for example, permit.
The list narrows to files whose names match. When a match is inside a folder, the row also shows the folder name, here References.
If nothing matches, read the message.
It says No files match followed by what you typed, for example “costume”. Clear the box to see all files again.
What you get
You find the file, or you know that no file has that name.
Watch out for
- This box searches file names. The Search button in the toolbar searches across the whole project.
