Call Sheets

Add optional sections to a call sheet

Add weather, extras, crew, contacts and other sections that suit your shooting day.

Beginner6 stepsMac

Before you start

  • A draft call sheet is open.

Steps

  1. In the side panel, click Add Section.

The menu lists Weather, Extras, Department notes, Advance schedule, Crew, Walkie channels and contacts, Reference images, Attachments, Special notes and, below a divider, Custom field. An entry is greyed out when the project has nothing to put in it. In the picture Department notes and Advance schedule are greyed out.

  2. Choose Weather.

The Weather section is added to the sheet and a message says Added Weather to the call sheet, with Undo. Scroll down the sheet to find it and fill it in.

  3. Click Add Section again and choose Extras.

The message says Added Extras to the call sheet. Each section you add shows its own message, and the messages stack if you add several quickly.

  4. Choose Crew to add a crew list.

The message says Added Crew to the call sheet. Use Crew for the people and departments on the day.

  5. Choose Walkie channels and contacts.

The message says Added Walkie channels and contacts to the call sheet. This section is for radio channels and phone numbers the team needs on the day.

  6. Choose Attachments to add a section for files that go with the sheet.

The message says Added Attachments to the call sheet. Reference images, Special notes and Custom field are added the same way.

What you get

The sections you chose are on the sheet, ready to fill in, and they will be in the PDF if you leave the include option on.

Watch out for

  • Click Undo in the message right after adding a section by mistake.
  • Added sections are only printed when Include the added sections is ticked in the export sheet. See Export a call sheet as a PDF.
