BreakdownMove between scenes and hide the side columns
Open any scene and give the script more room when you want it.
Before you start
- A production source is set.
Steps
Click a scene in the Scenes list, for example scene 3.
The script column shows that scene, the panel is headed Scene 3 breakdown, and the blue bar reads Scene 3 of 10. A scene with nothing tagged says: Nothing broken down yet. Select words in the script to tag them, add an element, or ask for suggestions.
Click Hide scenes in the blue bar.
The scene list closes and the button now reads Show scenes. Click it to bring the list back.
Click Hide panel in the blue bar to close the breakdown panel instead.
The button changes to Show panel. The scene list stays, so you can still move between scenes.
Hide both the scene list and the panel to read the script alone.
Only the script column is left, with Show scenes and Show panel in the bar. Show them again before you tag or add elements.
What you get
You can open any scene and arrange the screen to suit the task.
Watch out for
- Hiding a column only changes the view. Nothing in your breakdown is lost.
