BreakdownOpen Breakdown in a project with no screenplay
Understand what you see when there is no draft to choose, and what to do about it.
Before you start
- A new project with no screenplay yet.
Steps
Click Breakdown in the sidebar.
The page is the same as in any project without a source: Choose a screenplay source to begin the breakdown., with Select Source and Import Screenplay.
Click Select Source and read the sheet.
With no drafts, the sheet says: There are no screenplay drafts yet. Write or import a screenplay first. Production is always based on a named draft. Set as Production Source cannot be used yet. Click Cancel, then write or import a screenplay, or click Import Screenplay on the page.
What you get
You know that Breakdown needs a screenplay draft, and where to get one.
Watch out for
- Return to Breakdown and click Select Source once the project has a draft.
