BreakdownAccept, edit or reject suggestions
Turn the suggestions you agree with into elements and dismiss the rest.
Before you start
- The scene has suggestions. See Ask OpenFrame to suggest elements for a scene.
Steps
In the Suggested elements sheet, read each row.
A row shows a tick box, the name, a label such as New catalog item and the matched words with how sure the match is: Likely match or Possible match. Accept, Edit and Reject are at the right. At the bottom the count reads, for example, 10 suggested · 10 selected.
Clear the tick box of a suggestion you do not want to include in a group action.
The count changes to 10 suggested · 9 selected, and the buttons Reject Selected and Accept Selected now show (9). Accept All Safe keeps its own count. Use Reject Selected or Accept Selected for the ticked rows, or Accept All Safe for every suggestion. Close leaves the sheet.
To change a suggestion first, click Edit on its row, in the sheet or in the panel.
The sheet Edit suggestion: Kiran says: Change the category, name or catalog item before accepting. It shows the matched text, a Category menu, a Name box and a Catalog item choice, for example Create new item “Kiran”, which is added to the production catalog. If several items look similar you will see a list with distinguishing details and can choose one. Click Accept to add it, or Cancel.
Click Accept on one suggestion in the panel.
The suggestion becomes a normal element with a Required label and an Actions button. A message says Accepted “Kiran”, and the banner count drops to 9.
Click Reject on a suggestion you do not want.
The suggestion disappears and the banner count drops, here to 8. A message says Suggestion rejected. It won't be suggested again for this scene.
Continue until every suggestion is accepted or rejected.
The banner goes away. The elements sit under their categories, here Cast, Location / Set, Props, Wardrobe and Sound, each with its count. The last message names the final suggestion accepted, for example Accepted “Knocking”.
What you get
The scene breakdown holds the elements you accepted. Rejected suggestions do not come back for that scene.
Watch out for
- Rejecting is final for that scene. If you reject something by mistake, add it back with Add Element.
- Check the Catalog item choice when you edit. Choose an existing item when the thing is already in the catalog.
