Story and Beat BoardExport the Story page
Save your Story page as a text, PDF or Word file.
Before you start
- The Story page has text.
Steps
Click Export at the top right of the Story tab.
The Export Story dialog says Source: the Story page. Under FORMAT choose Plain text (.txt), PDF or Word (.docx). A line shows the suggested file name, for example Night Bus - Story - 2026-10-31.txt, built from your project name and the date. A note says Export creates a snapshot and does not change your project.
Click Export…, then choose where to save the file in the Windows window that opens.
Cancel closes the dialog without a file. Plain text keeps the words only. PDF and Word keep your formatting.
What you get
A file with your story text is saved where you chose.
Watch out for
- Nothing in your project changes when you export.
