SettingsRestore default shortcuts
Put one command, or every command, back to its default keys.
Before you start
- You have changed at least one shortcut.
Steps
To reset one command, click Restore default on its row.
The button is only active on rows that show (changed). If its default key is free the command goes back at once and a message says Restored the default for the command.
To reset everything, click Restore all defaults at the top right. Read the dialog and click Restore all defaults.
The dialog is Restore all keyboard shortcuts? It says every shortcut you changed goes back to its default, that this can't be undone, and that you can change them again at any time. Cancel closes it. The top right button is greyed out when nothing has been changed.
Look for the message at the bottom: All shortcuts are back to their defaults.
Every row shows its default keys and None in CONFLICT. The (changed) marks are gone.
What you get
Commands use their default keys again.
Watch out for
- Restore all defaults cannot be undone. You would need to add your own keys again.
