Notes and tasksWrite a project note
Capture a short note and keep it with the project.
Before you start
- The Notes & Tasks page is open.
Steps
Click New Note at the top right, or New Note above the list.
The page shows three notes, Monsoon schedule risk, Permits and Music, each with its first line and Today. You can also choose New Note in the Create menu at the top of the window.
A new note opens in the drawer. Click the Title box.
An Untitled note has already joined the list. The drawer is headed PROJECT NOTE and has Title and Note. Below them: Added by your name, with when it was created and changed, and the line Notes are kept out of formal documents such as screenplay and call-sheet exports.
Type a title, then click the Note box and write the note.
Here the title is Tour note on the radio tower. The note saves as you type, and the list updates with the new title and the start of the text. There is no Save button.
Click the x at the top of the drawer to close it.
The note stays in the Project Notes list. Click it any time to read or edit it again.
What you get
A note with your title and text is saved in Project Notes.
Watch out for
- A note with no title shows in the list as Untitled note. Give it a title so you can find it.
- Notes are never included in screenplay or call-sheet exports.
