Application HomeCheck your version and export a diagnostics file
Read the About page and save a diagnostics file to send to support.
Before you start
- The Settings dialog is open.
Steps
Open Settings and click the About and support tab.
The page has three sections. LICENCE tells you about your licence and where OpenFrame was installed from. ABOUT OPENFRAME STUDIO shows the version number. SUPPORT explains diagnostics.
Under SUPPORT, click Export Diagnostics… and choose where to save the file.
If you contact support, you can attach a diagnostics bundle. You can read everything in it before you save it. Nothing is sent automatically.
What you get
You have a diagnostics file you can read and attach to a support message.
Watch out for
- OpenFrame never sends diagnostics on its own. You choose whether to share the file.
