StoryExport the Story page as text, PDF or Word
Save a copy of the Story page as a file you can share or keep.
Before you start
- The Story page has some text.
Steps
Click Export at the top right of the page.
A sheet opens over the page. The Story page is the only source it offers.
In the Export Story sheet, choose a Format: Plain text (.txt), PDF or Word (.docx).
The sheet says Source: the Story page. Under Suggested file name it shows the project name, Story and today's date, ending in the format you chose. A note reads: Export creates a snapshot and does not change your project. Cancel closes the sheet.
Choose Word (.docx) to see the file name change to end in .docx, then click Export….
Export… opens the Mac save panel, where you pick the folder and confirm the name. The sheet is the same for all three formats.
What you get
A file with the text of your Story page is saved where you chose.
Watch out for
- The file is a snapshot. Changing the page later does not change a file you already saved. Export again to get a new copy.
