StoryApply a new board order to a written screenplay
Reorder an existing screenplay to match the order you worked out on the board.
Before you start
- A screenplay exists and you have reordered cards on the board.
Steps
Click More and choose Apply Board Order to Screenplay….
This is for a screenplay that already exists. It is separate from Build Screenplay, which creates scenes.
Read the sheet Apply this order to the written screenplay?
It warns that reordering these cards will change the screenplay scene order. When no screenplay exists yet it says so: There is no screenplay yet. Use Build Screenplay to create one from the Beat Board. Click Apply to go ahead or Cancel to stop.
What you get
The screenplay scenes follow the board order, or nothing changes if you cancel.
Watch out for
- This changes the scene order of your written screenplay. Make a draft copy first if you are unsure.
