ScreenplayRead the message when an import fails
Understand why a file could not be imported and what to do next.
Before you start
- You chose a file in Import Screenplay.
Steps
Read the message. Click Paste Text Instead, or Close.
The import says in plain words that the file could not be read. Older and other formats such as .doc, .rtf and .pages are not supported. Save the screenplay as Final Draft, Fountain or Word first, or paste its text. Your current project was not changed.
What you get
You know what to try next, and your project is untouched.
