Production PlanMove a shot, or copy planning to another scene
Put a shot in a different scene, or reuse a scene's shots in another.
Before you start
- A scene has shots, and the project has more than one scene.
Steps
Control-click a shot and choose Move to Scene….
The sheet is titled Move shot, then its letter. Choose a Scene and click Move Shot. Cancel closes the sheet. Use Move Up and Move Down in the same menu to change a shot's place inside its scene.
Click More at the right of the scene header.
The menu holds Copy Planning to Another Scene….
Choose Copy Planning to Another Scene…, pick a Scene and click Copy Planning.
The sheet is titled Copy planning to another scene. Cancel closes it. Use this for scenes that you will shoot in the same way.
What you get
The shot sits in the right scene, or the scene's planning is copied to another.
Watch out for
- Shot letters follow the order in each scene, so a moved shot gets a new letter in its new scene.
