Idea VaultFind out what happened to a file that moved
Read the notice on a linked file that is no longer where it was, and relink it.
Before you start
- A linked file item is open in the inspector.
Steps
Open the item. Read the File unavailable notice.
The item stays in the vault with its notes, and nothing is deleted. Click Relink… to point it at the new place, or Open Location to look at the old folder.
What you get
The item is linked to the file again, or you know where to look.
Watch out for
- OpenFrame never deletes the item because a file went missing.
