HomeOpen the Global Idea Vault
Keep an idea that does not belong to any film yet, and find your way around the vault.
Before you start
- You are on Application Home.
Steps
Click Global Idea Vault at the top right.
It sits next to Settings and your name.
Look at the Idea Vault page.
It says: Ideas across your whole filmmaking life. Copy them into a film when they are ready. The toolbar has Add, Record Note, Quick Capture, a View control with Grid, Card, List and Folder, Recently Deleted, Undo and Redo. The list on the left holds All items, Pinned, Recently added and Recently modified, then Collections with New Collection and Folders with New Folder. Done closes the vault and returns to Application Home.
With no ideas yet, read the middle of the page.
It says Drop any film idea, reference or file here. Below, it explains that you can add a note, image, link, file or voice note, and that you never have to decide what it is first. Add Note starts the first note. The Idea Vault tutorials explains each way to add an idea.
What you get
You know where to keep ideas that are not tied to a project.
Watch out for
- The Global Idea Vault is shared by every project. A project has its own Idea Vault as well.
