Beginner3 stepsMac

Before you start

  • OpenFrame Studio is open for the first time, after the library step.

Steps

  1. Read the Welcome to OpenFrame Studio sheet. It asks: What should we call you? Click the Your name (required) box.

The line Enter your name. shows under the box while it is empty. Continue does nothing until you type a name.

  2. Type your name and click Continue.

A note says your name appears on notes, tasks and project activity. There is no account. The name stays on this computer and you can change it any time in Settings.

  3. Application Home opens.

It says Create your first project. Your name now shows at the top right next to Global Idea Vault and Settings.

What you get

Your name is saved on this Mac and Application Home is open, ready for your first project.

Watch out for

  • A name is required. Without one the Welcome sheet shows Enter your name. and does not continue.
  • There is no account to sign up for. The name only labels your notes, tasks and activity.
