Shot listsExport a shot list
Save the shot list of one scene, some scenes or the whole project as a PDF, CSV or Excel file.
Before you start
- The project has shots.
Steps
Click Export at the top right.
The export covers the scene you have open, or the scenes you pick in the dialog.
In the Export Shot List dialog, choose the scope and the format.
Scope: Current scene (with its number and heading), Selected scenes, which lets you tick scenes, or Whole project. Format: PDF printable, CSV spreadsheet-friendly text, or Excel (XLSX) with one sheet per table. Whole project: also shots of scenes removed from the script includes shots whose scene is no longer in the script. A note says private notes are excluded and that Export creates a snapshot and does not change your project.
Click Export… and choose where to save the file in the Windows window that opens.
Cancel closes the dialog with no file made. The PDF carries a small Created using OpenFrame line. CSV files stay clean without it.
What you get
A file with your shots is saved where you chose.
Watch out for
- The export is a snapshot. Change the shot list afterwards and you need to export again.
