Reports

Save a report snapshot

Freeze a report as it is now, so you can look back at it later.

Beginner3 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • A report is open. Clear the filter if you want the whole report.

Steps

  1. Choose the report, then click Save snapshot at the top right.

The button saves the report as it looks now, including any filter you typed.

  2. Look for the message at the bottom: Saved a report snapshot.

The message has Undo and a close button. The snapshot is listed under SAVED SNAPSHOTS on the left, named for the report and the draft, for example Scene Report: THE TOWER AT PEDDA REVU: Second Draft, with the date and time. It opens at once.

  3. Read the blue bar at the top of the snapshot.

It says Saved snapshot with the name. It does not change when production data changes. A snapshot made with a filter says so in the bar. Save snapshot is not shown while a snapshot is open. Back to live reports returns to the current data.

What you get

A frozen copy of the report is kept under SAVED SNAPSHOTS.

Watch out for

  • A snapshot does not update. Save a new one to capture later changes.
