OpenFrame AI

Save a conversation or start a new one

Save the questions and answers of one conversation to a file, and clear the panel for a new topic.

Intermediate4 stepsWindows

Before you start

  • OpenFrame AI panel is open and has at least one answer in it.

Steps

  1. Look at the download arrow beside the Scope list.

The Save conversation for review button is greyed out until the first answer, because there is nothing to save yet.

  2. Click the download arrow (Save conversation for review) once there is an answer.

A Windows Save window titled Save conversation for review opens. It suggests the name openframe-ai-conversation.json. Pick a folder and save. The file goes only where you choose.

  3. Look for the message at the bottom of the window.

It says Saved followed by the file name and how many questions it holds, for example 1 question.

  4. Click New to start a new conversation.

The panel goes back to the short introduction with its examples, and the next question starts fresh. Save the conversation first if you want a file of it.

What you get

You have a file of the conversation and a clean panel.

Watch out for

  • The file holds your questions and the answers, so treat it like your project and share it only if you mean to.
  • Saving a conversation is separate from the AI health report. See Read AI health and export a report.
