Backups, packages and exchangePlace imported comments that did not match
Decide where each waiting comment belongs, so no comment is lost.
Before you start
- An import left comments that could not be placed with certainty.
Steps
Open the project menu and click Review Queue.
You can also click Open Review Queue in the import window when an import leaves comments waiting.
Read the queue.
The dialog says: Imported comments that need a decision. No comment is ever silently discarded. When it is empty it says Nothing waiting and When an imported comment can't be matched safely, it waits here for you. Close closes the dialog.
When comments are waiting, look at the groups Ambiguous mapping and Unmatched Review Notes.
Each card shows the comment, who wrote it, the words it was on, where it came from and the reason it is waiting. Ambiguous mapping means more than one scene fits. Unmatched Review Notes means none did.
Click an Attach to button for a suggested scene, or Choose… or Attach manually… to pick a scene in a list, then click Attach.
A message says Attached to and the scene. The comment moves to the Attached group, and the card is dimmed. Cancel closes the list without attaching.
What you get
Every waiting comment is attached to a scene.
Watch out for
- Ambiguous and unmatched notes wait here until you decide. Nothing is discarded.
